REHAU announces the introduction of the STEPLOC radiant panel system, engineered to speed installation while providing greater flexibility in system design.

Designed for radiant floor heating and cooling applications where RAUPEX O2 Barrier pipe is embedded in concrete or gypsum-based overpours, STEPLOC installs over slab-on-grade, suspended slabs, plywood subfloors, or insulation, making it suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial projects.

Unlike radiant panels with insulation permanently attached, STEPLOC allows engineers to specify the insulation type and thickness required for each project. This approach provides greater design flexibility while helping avoid unnecessary material costs when insulation is already in place or not required.

The system features a durable self-adhesive backing that bonds to concrete, plywood, and foam insulation. Engineered retention knobs securely hold 1/2 in. RAUPEX O2 Barrier pipe without clips, staples, or additional fasteners. Installers simply press the pipe into place until it clicks between the knobs, creating accurate, consistent pipe spacing with less labor.
