The TFX-5000 meter, which has also completed the BTL Certification Program for BACnet MS/TP, has no moving parts and easily attaches to a pipe’s exterior. It can be put into service by a single person in under 30 minutes—without shutting down the process or intruding into existing piping, which reduces installation time and cost. The TFX-5000 meter can be used with dual clamp-on Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) for British Thermal Unit (Btu) energy measurement. This meter is ideally suited for hydronic applications, such as cooling tower blowdown, chilled water, makeup water, condenser water, condensate boiler feed return, submetering and energy efficiency initiatives.
