Bosch Home Comfort (formerly Bosch Thermotechnology), a leading global source of high-quality heating, cooling, and hot water systems has introduced two IDS compact air handlers, one wall-mounted (BWA) and one ceiling-mounted (BCA), designed for new construction multifamily housing projects.
Both air handlers are paired with a Bosch Home Comfort IDS Light condensing section to increase installation options for consumers—especially in tight spaces. Select BWA and BCA combinations meet the requirements for ENERGY STAR, meaning they are among the most efficient products in the market. The air handlers are equipped with all-aluminum coils for added reliability, and they are backed up by a 10-year warranty. The IDS Light condensing section contains a full inverter compressor to consistently adjust temperatures and control the speed—an element unique to Bosch Home Comfort systems. The air handlers are 33% smaller in size to easily fit in closet space.
