Danfoss Expands Heat Exchanger Production to Mexico

With demand for heat exchangers increasing as the adoption of sustainable cooling sources grows, Danfoss is pleased to begin production of its brazed plate heat exchangers at its newly expanded factory in Monterrey, Mexico. This will enable the company to shorten supply chains in North America by reducing delivery times to its customers in the region.

To ensure production at the highest quality, Danfoss will install two brazing ovens at its Monterrey facility by the end of this year. Other processes will be added as production capabilities grow.

Heat exchangers are a critical component of sustainable HVAC systems, providing efficient heat transfer from one medium to another, resulting in energy savings. Danfoss’ gasket-free brazed plate heat exchangers feature a flexible design using corrugated plates, which can be customized for the customer’s specific application needs, and are particularly efficient in high-pressure or extreme temperature conditions, such as those in data centers. With the growing demand for sustainable data center cooling, increasing production and shortening delivery times of brazed plate heat exchangers will be essential in meeting the needs of original equipment manufacturers (OEM).
