Daikin Industries, Ltd., donated several heating andair-conditioning systems that service the entire first floor and learning center of the newly renovated ASHRAE Headquarters, located in Atlanta, Georgia. Daikin also provided the funding for the first reception area and a vegetative roof garden.

ASHRAE’s new Headquarters effectively serves as a laboratory without walls to extend the Society’s knowledge and information worldwide. The living laboratory will be used for experimentation, research, and testing.

The Daikin systems used to service the first floor and learning center provided a solution to increase the usable space without any costly building modifications. The non-ozone depleting potential refrigerant, individual zone control capabilities and heat recovery technology helped the ASHRAE organization to reach their goals of building an energy efficient and sustainable headquarters.
