Carrier Corp. has acquired Sharp Mechanical Inc., a St. Louis, Mo.-based hvac contractor specializing in the service and repair of commercial equipment. The business will operate as part of Carrier Commercial Service effective immediately. Carrier Corp. is a unit of United Technologies Corp. The acquisition was completed on May 13. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
