Robert McDonough Joins Carrier Corp

Robert McDonough joined Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp., as president, Distribution and Aftermarket, for Carrier’s Residential & Light Commercial Systems (RLCS) division. McDonough will report to Halsey Cook, president, RLCS.

In his new role, McDonough will lead RLCS’s sales, distribution, and aftermarket businesses, including Carrier-operated distribution, International Comfort Products, and the Replacement Components Division. He will be based in Indianapolis.

McDonough joins Carrier after spending 16 years with Lennox International, where he held the positions of president and COO of Worldwide Heating & Cooling and executive vice-president of Lennox International. He also has served as president of Lennox’s Worldwide Refrigeration and International Operations.

McDonough has more than 26 years of general management, sales and marketing experience in the heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration industry, in both domestic and international markets.
