Automated Logic Corp. (ALC) has acquired the business of Marietta Automated Systems Inc. (Marietta), an ALC dealer serving the greater New York City marketplace. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Marietta designs, installs, and services hvac systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. It has been an ALC dealer since 1993. John H. Nardine, president of Marietta, will be president of the new ALC branch office. The remaining management team and employees will continue in their respective roles. ALC, a subsidiary of Carrier Corp., designs and manufactures control systems primarily for hvac, lighting, and energy management.
