ARI Awards Spring Scholarships

The Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) announces the winners of the Clifford H. “Ted” Rees Jr. Scholarships for the spring 2007 semester. The scholarship honors the legacy of Ted Rees, a former ARI president, who encouraged hvacr manufacturers to provide support to strengthen vocational and technical school education nationwide. The $2,000 scholarship is awarded to 10 students twice a year before the fall and spring academic semesters.

The recipients are: Shawn Wasielewski, Williamsport, Pa. Tobias Mason, Bellingham, Wash. Nguyen Don Mau, Janesville, Wis. Anthony Kiser, Lake Worth, Fla. Greg Pewtress, Bellingham, Wash. Samuel Nazario, Kissimmee, Fla. Justin Meiner, Big Rapids, Mich. Avery Denney, Canton, N.Y. Amy Karpes, Janesville, Wis. Cody B. Jones, Levelland, Texas
