Last fall, Gardiner Trane hosted the High Performance Buildings Showcase 2006 at its office in Solon, Ohio. The three-day event featured the latest in building systems, technology, and strategies. The Showcase was developed to help industry professionals learn different ways to design, evaluate, improve, and sustain performance over the life of a building.
“Every building has a purpose,” said Gardiner Trane President Bob Case, who was on hand to welcome every attendee to the event. “Our goal with the Showcase was to expose people to some tools, products, and services that can help buildings perform at their highest level in achieving that purpose.”
Gardiner Trane associates acted as tour guides for the event, leading the 350 attendees through a personalized tour of the display areas. More than 30 different displays were featured, including industry- specific areas for healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial facilities, as well as a fully functional system integration lab.
“What differentiates Gardiner Trane in our market is our staff of nearly 150 local associates, including more than 20 degreed engineers,” Case said. “Giving our customers a chance to see the breadth and depth of our resources was a great opportunity for us.”
