Arzel Zoning Technology Inc., Cleveland, Ohio, has opened a zoning training center and lab at its Pasadena, Calif., distribution location. The training center features a classroom area, meeting room, and a hands-on zoning dynamics lab.

“Comfort College has been very successful in our Cleveland location,” said Dennis Laughlin, president of Arzel. “We heard from many of our customers that a west coast option would make sense.

“Educating sales people and techs on zoning just makes sense as more and more contractors focus on accessory sales.”

The west coast Comfort College curriculum features two days of training on zoning technology and airflow strategies. Classwork deals with zoning layout and design, opportunity recognition and sales and marketing techniques. In the lab students are challenged to plan bypass strategies and learn about select special topics.

Comfort College fees ($295) include one night’s lodging, meals, course materials and transportation from hotel to class. Students provide their own transportation to Pasadena. Fall 2006 sessions are now being scheduled. Students interested in attending may call Arzel at 1-800-611-8312. –www.arzelzoning.com
