Power Transmission Solutions, a business of Emerson Industrial Automation, presented its Browning® new EPDM v-belts at the 2012 AHR Expo. The EPDM high-performance v-belt has an operational temperature range of -60 degrees F to +230 degrees F, which is significantly greater than industry standard Neoprene belts.

Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) is a synthetic rubber compound that is strong, flexible, and resists decay. It is ozone, oxidation, humidity and heat-resistant. This advancement in v-belt technology allows a 70% broader temperature range than standard Neoprene synthetic rubber belts, providing reliable performance even in the most demanding climates and heat sensitive applications.
