Baltimore Aircoil Co. (BAC) announced that it has signed an exclusive development agreement with WindTronics Inc. to use the company’s patented BTPS (Blade Tip Power System) wind turbine technology in energy-recovery applications for evaporative-cooling equipment.

Through this exclusive agreement, BAC and WindTronics jointly will develop new green technologies to recover energy from otherwise wasted exhaust airflow from cooling towers, closed circuit cooling towers, and evaporative condensers in both new and existing installations.
