Tecumseh Products Company has consolidated its North America region for operations, sales, marketing and engineering functions, and has appointed former company executive Bill Merritt as President of the new business group. Merritt will lead Tecumseh’s United States, Canada, and Mexico initiatives which collectively form the new region. He will to report to Jim Connor, President and CEO. 

Merritt rejoins Tecumseh from MidTech Sales, LLC where he was vice president and general manager. He held various leadership roles during his prior 17 years working for Tecumseh, including Vice President, Global Marketing and Sales; VP, Commercial Refrigeration and Distribution; Executive Director of Tecumseh Do Brasil – USA; and Director of Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning Products. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of Toledo
