Two leading industry organizations have enhanced website portals to better serve contractors informational needs.

The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) relaunched a website intended to keep industry professionals and equipment owners informed on the phase out of ozone depleting refrigerants.

The website includes detailed information on refrigerants, and the history of the Clean Air Act. The Contractors and Technicians section contains updates on sales restrictions and changes in how contractors service and dispose of systems and refrigerants. Information on residential and commercial air conditioning, as well as commercial refrigeration, is listed under the Equipment Owners section.

North American Technician Excellence (NATE) has redesigned its industry website to offer visitors an enhanced experience with easier access to information about certification, valuable tools and industry resources. The new user-friendly design is clearly organized by audience to help technicians, contractors, testing organizations, training organizations, proctors and other NATE partners quickly find the information they need.

In addition, the site will be continuously updated with news, upcoming events and e-newsletters to keep all industry partners in the loop on the latest developments and updates from NATE.
