Lochinvar has announced the start of its annual VIP Contractor Program, which aims to help contractors maximize their success, the company said. And this year’s program features a new monthly sweepstakes.

Originally designed to reward contractors for installations of the KNIGHT Residential Heating Boiler, the company has expanded the program in recent years to include additional products such as the Efficiency+ and Solution residential boiler lines, the KNIGHT XL Commercial Boiler and the Squire Indirect Water Heater. With each registered purchase of any of these products, the contractor earns points that can be redeemed online from an extensive catalog of prizes, such as flat screen TVs or sporting goods.

In addition to accruing points, VIP Contractors are entered into a monthly sweepstakes with each registration. Each month throughout the program, one participant will be randomly selected to win a spot on one of two three-day trips to Nashville, Tenn.

Contractors also have the opportunity to compete on a monthly basis by showcasing their installations at www.knightheatingboiler.com. After the projects are reviewed by a panel of Lochinvar judges, one contractor each month is awarded a $250 gift card of their choice. The contractor who is named the overall winner of the Installation Showcase joins the 12 sweepstakes winners in Nashville, along with the seven top-performing VIPs who register the most purchases of qualified products.

The 20 contractors who win the grand prize trip, along with their guests, will be treated to three days of VIP treatment in Nashville. The all-expenses-paid trip includes a stay at the legendary Opryland Resort, a dinner cruise on the General Jackson Showboat, a night of entertainment at the Grand Ole Opry, a tour of the Jack Daniels Distillery and a visit to Lochinvar headquarters for a roundtable discussion.

VIP Contractors also are given access to a wealth of resources, the company said. Access to sales tools and marketing materials, such as homeowner literature, postcards, advertisements and a customized listing at www.knightheatingboiler.com, help them merchandise their services to prospective customers.  A total of six educational webinars will be held during the heating season to offer technical tips and information on various industry topics, and to keep VIPs up-to-date and in-the-know, a monthly newsletter is distributed with information and updates on all product and program news.
