Duct Blaster Measures Airflow Performance In Buildings

The Minneapolis Duct Blaster is a calibrated airflow-measurement system used to test and document forced-air duct systems in houses and light-commercial buildings for airtight performance.

These measurements diagnose and demonstrate leakage problems, estimate efficiency losses from duct leakage, and certify the quality of duct-system installation. Reducing return and supply duct leaks will lower heating-and-cooling energy costs; reduce the amount of pollutants such as mold, insulation fibers, and pollen from entering the house; and make living areas less drafty and more comfortable.
