PEP Aerisa has applied the use of cold plasma air purification technology to mitigate odors and VOC’s in the air that impact indoor air quality while reducing customers’ costs for clean air, the company says. The system is in use at Los Angeles airport.

"This cold plasma technology that releases ions into an air space mitigates 99% of agents in the air that impact indoor air quality at approximately 1/6th the energy usage of traditional air cleaning solutions,” said Mark Allen Roberts, PEP Aerisa President. “The benefit of our Aerisa technology is that we release ions into the air space and attack odors and airborne toxins where they live in the room. Studies indicate 90% of odors are electro-statically connected to something in the room. Our technology aggressively seeks out those toxins and odors and produces clean, breathable air,” he explained.

PEP Aerisa has recently redesigned its popular 5550 series product to produce the maximum number of both positive and negative ions to aggressively attack odors and toxins in the air.
