A.O. Smith Electrical Products Company has introduced a new model to its iMotor® line of replacement evaporator fan motors. The new high efficient iMotor is a 13-watt output replacement motor that allows commercial refrigeration contractors to save time and money, while adding versatility to their replacement evaporator fan motor inventories.

Stock number 9211, is a unit bearing, electronically commutated motor (ECM) that is a direct replacement to Hussmann’s 13-watt, 115 volt, 1725 RPM, shaded pole evaporator fan motor (reference 441-547). As a direct drop-in motor, 9211 also has a special shorter body length to fit Hussmann evaporators.  

By stocking the 9211 motor, the refrigeration contractor can benefit from the following features:

• Fewer trips to a distributor;
• Convenience of direct drop-in replacement complete with five tapped and drilled rear mounting holes;
• Allows for use of low temperature oil in evaporators;
• Eliminate temporary motor substitutions;
