Forge Division of Midwest Tool and Cutlery Company Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification

The Forge Division of Midwest Tool And Cutlery Company, a shallow cavity hot drop-forge facility in Kalkaska, Michigan has received its ISO 9001:2008 certification (No.: C2010-01784), demonstrating the company’s commitment to meeting globally recognized quality standards.  

 

“Achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification is an important milestone for the Forge Division of Midwest Tool and Cutlery Company, and this certification illustrates to customers worldwide our strong commitment to quality at all levels of our organization” said Stephen Deter, president and CEO. 

 

“Customers want to be confident that they are doing business with an organization that can meet or exceed their needs in a timely manner. Successfully completing the rigorous process required for certification is a clear sign that we are devoted to continually improving our quality management systems," he added.

 

The successful ISO 9001:2008 certification was made through Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc., an accredited registrar that performs assessments of management systems against requirements of national and international standards for quality.
