To better serve customers and improve efficiency, Master-Bilt has welcomed Eddie Carr as vice president of operations and appointed Dave Entrekin to the new position of national technical sales manager, effective immediately.

In his new position, Carr will focus on the continual improvement of cost, quality, and throughput to support the growth of Master-Bilt’s cabinet, walk-in and refrigeration product lines.

Carr’s background includes an MS in Industrial Systems Engineering from Memphis State University along with a BS in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State University. Carr was formerly vice president of manufacturing for Chromcraft in Senatobia, Mississippi and general manufacturing manager for Dover Corporation before becoming vice president of SFI in Tennessee. With over 20 years of managerial experience under his belt, Master-Bilt is honored to have Carr join the team.

Previously northeast regional manager, Entrekin will work with customers, consultants, reps and regional managers on training and installation of Master-Bilt equipment, with an emphasis on specification-type products such as refrigeration, racks and Master Controller/reverse cycle defrost. Entrekin will also lead Master-Bilt’s involvement in LEED certification and green products.

Entrekin boasts 32 years of experience in commercial refrigeration, having served as service technician, service and installation manager and in field sales.  His corporate sales responsibility for 15 years prior to Master-Bilt was in the supermarket equipment industry.  Large projects, rack refrigeration systems, and panel structures have been an emphasis of his activity.  Entrekin has served Master-Bilt in his previous and new capacities for nine years.

Entrekin’s former Northeast territory responsibilities have been re-assigned to others.
