Kett Tool Company now offers KD-446 Profile Shears, which cut tight curves at a radius of only three inches, making cutting tight profile curves in lightweight sheet, tube or corrugated metal much less of a challenge, the company says.

The shears cut C.R. mild steel up to 18 gauge at up to 28 inches per minute. They also cut copper, aluminum, wire mesh and more using replaceable A-2 tool steel scissor action cutting blades. The KD-446 is powered by Kett’s 120 volt, 5.0 amp, 2500 RPM motor with an aluminum shear head. Left or right hand cutting sets are available.

At only five pounds, these portable shears can be used high up when installing duct, pipe
