HVAC Covers says its custom made air conditioner covers will protect units during off-season or winter use. The covers are produced out of heavy- duty vinyl with a fleece-like backing and are custom made to fit the make and model of any air conditioning unit. Available in an assortment of colors, the covers are designed so that there is enough clearance from the bottom of the condenser unit's base to permit the correct amount of airflow so that condensation does not occur, the manufacture states.
