NADCA Partners with Chimney Safety Institute of America
MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. — The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), an association dedicated to serving the needs of HVAC industry professionals — including air systems cleaning specialists, mold remediators and HVAC inspectors — has recently partnered with the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA).
CSIA, a non-profit, educational organization, is focused on chimney and venting system safety. The organization is committed to the elimination of residential chimney fires, carbon monoxide intrusion, and other chimney-related hazards that result in the loss of lives and property.
As part of the new relationship, a representative from CSIA will attend NADCA’s upcoming Fall Technical Conference in Atlanta, to present the Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician (C-DET) review and examination for NADCA members interested in obtaining the C-DET credential.
The associations will work together to promote continuing education for members at technical workshops as well as through online webinars. In addition, leaders from both groups will provide support by contributing content for member publications.
