NADCA Welcomes Two Inductees to Hall of Fame

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. — NADCA, the HVAC inspection, maintenance and restoration association, inducted two HVAC professionals into the prestigious Hall of Fame during this year's annual meeting, held April 27-29, in Marco Island.

Honored this year were Cindy White, ASCS, of Clean Air Systems of LA, Inc. and Bob Krell of IAQ Technologies.

"Cindy and Bob have been pioneers in the industry," said Bill Benito, NADCA president. "This recognition is well-deserved and we're excited to honor them during this year's annual meeting."

White earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana Tech University. She believes education is the key to progress and success. She also holds a Louisiana State Commercial Anti-Microbial Pesticide license.

White is the president of Clean Air Systems of LA, Inc. which was founded in 1989. White believes in an "all hands on deck" approach to work and has performed every task at her company from the cleaning of commercial HVAC systems, mold remediation to washing the dishes in the office kitchen.

Clean Air Systems joined NADCA in January 1990 and White has been immersed in the organization ever since. She served as Region 4 Coordinator until she was elected to the NADCA Board of Directors in 2004. She also served on the Government Affairs Committee, the Ethics Committee and the Annual Meeting Committee.

Krell is a nationally recognized indoor environmental consultant and trainer in the IAQ industry for more than 25 years. He has designed and managed successful indoor environmental and building performance projects for residential, commercial, educational and healthcare facilities throughout the United States.

After joining the NADCA Board of Directors in 1990 to fill a vacancy, Krell was elected for three consecutive terms from 1990-2000, during his eleven-year board tenure. Krell founded NADCA's Government Affairs Committee and served on many other committees including the Standards Committee, Annual Conventions Committee and Executive Committee.

Krell is president of IAQ Technologies, Inc., a Syracuse, NY-based indoor environmental and building performance firm offering consulting, mitigation and training services to a variety of clients throughout the country. Bob is also the founder of IAQnet, LLC, which hosts the new online information site IAQ.net and Publisher of the fully digital online magazine, Healthy Indoors.

"Both inductees have set a fantastic example that the rest of members can follow," Benito said. "Their quality of work and what they've done for NADCA has been instrumental in the ongoing success of the organization."
