Mitsubishi Hyper-Heating M-Series Outdoor Units
SUWANEE, GA – Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division (Mitsubishi Electric), an industry leader in split-zoning and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) cooling and heating technology in the U.S. marketplace, is pleased to add to its extensive Hyper-Heat (H2i) product line of M-Series ENERGY STAR-rated systems with the MUZ-FE09 outdoor unit.
“Used with the H2i MSZ-FE09 indoor units, the complete system provides superior heating performance, especially at lower outdoor temperatures, and is changing the way people think about the term heat pump,” says John Clements, senior product marketing manager, Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division.
The units are ENERGY STAR and tax credit qualified. They provide up to 26 SEER and 10 HSPF Rated Btu/h capacities of 9,000 and deliver exceptional heating performance. These systems provide heating down to minus 13 degrees Fahrenheit outdoor ambient temperature and produce 100 percent capacity at ambient temperatures as low as five degrees Fahrenheit.
“Our systems provide year-round comfort in extreme climates while being extremely energy-efficient,” says Clements. “In many applications, there is no need for resistance electric or other supplemental, energy-consuming devices to provide this level of performance.”
The MUZ-FE09 outdoor units feature an innovative INVERTER-driven compressor, which maximizes energy savings by making sure only the energy needed to cool or heat an area perfectly is used. The MUZ-FE09 features an auto changeover function in which the system senses whether a space needs cooling or heating and automatically switches mode as needed to maintain a consistent temperature.
The MSZ-FE09 indoor units feature quiet operation and an enhanced filter system. The i?See™ Sensor on the indoor unit achieves superior cooling and heating performance with extremely efficient operation by scanning the room and making real-time adjustments based on ambient temperature readings.
Like all Mitsubishi Electric M-Series systems, the MSZ/MUZ system offers ease of installation, complete zone control, advanced microprocessor technology, personal comfort control with a dedicated controller and uses the environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant.
