Johnstone Supply Opens Illinois Distribution Center

Johnstone Supply recently announced the opening of its new Regional Distribution Center. The new facility, located in Joliet Ill., will service the Central and Great Lakes Region. It is the largest such facility for the company to date and represents a strategic expansion of the Cooperative’s nationwide distribution system.

The class-A building has 236,273 square feet of warehouse space and 30-plus truck-loading docks. The state-of-the-art operational layout and IT support system includes 8,600 sq-ft. of office space and a HazMat room.

“We’re excited to start up full operations and begin supporting our stores and their customers,” says Ed Walsh, Illinois DC Manager.

Store orders began shipping February 11,
