ICM Controls Corporation introduces its new series of dual-powered, SimpleComfort® thermostats, designed to simplify installations, while reducing overall costs.
The new series complements ICM Controls’ ever popular SimpleComfort® Standard and PRO Series thermostat lines, and includes two programmable models the SC3010L and SC5010 PRO and two non-programmable models the SC2010L and SC4010 PRO. All models are compatible with single-stage heat/cool or single-compressor heat pump systems, the company says.
The dual power feature allows distributors and contractors to reduce costs by eliminating the need to stock multiple thermostats to support battery and hardwire installations. Additionally, each model offers a tremendous value by including a standard host of innovative features, including ICM Controls’ patent-pending SimpleSet Target Programming feature to simplify installations, and patented Thermal Intrusion Barrier to enhance temperature accuracy.
Other standard features include large backlit displays, soft button controls, an easy-access terminal block, low battery indicator, freeze protection, and permanent memory, which stores all standard configuration and programming settings in the event of a power failure. Additionally, the dual-power feature allows the SC3010L and SC5010 PRO Series programmable models to maintain the clock and day-of-the-week during a power outage. The SC2010L and SC3010L Standard models offer a switch for manual changeover from heat to cool. The SC4010 and SC5010 PRO Series thermostats can be configured for auto or manual changeover.
