Mitsubishi Appoints Kuntz to VP, Product Development

Mark Kuntz has been promoted to vice president of product development & engineering of Mitsubishi Electric’s U.S. Cooling & Heating Division, the company recently announced.
In his new role, Kuntz will guide the company’s product development efforts. Kuntz and his team are charged with maintaining the company’s product strategy, identifying areas where the Mitsubishi Electric product line can be strengthened or enhanced, coordinating with the factories and working with third parties to supplement and accessorize the products sold in the U.S. He will also be responsible for leading the Engineering Solutions & Services (ESS) and Industry and Government Relations (IGR) functions.
Kuntz has a wide range of experience in HVAC, energy efficiency, product development and marketing. Prior to joining Mitsubishi Electric in May 2010, he served as national account manager at Lennox International, Dallas; vice president of marketing & business development at RWE Innogy; and vice president & general manger at Exelon Energy, Chicago.
