SC Products Eliminates “One Handed Ladder Climbing”

SC Products has developed the JugLugger Refrigerant Strap aimed at eliminating the potentially dangerous practice of “one handed ladder climbing”, the company said.
The strap combines a comfortable shoulder pad and heavy duty steel snap that links into a unique carrying system for small refrigerant and reclaim cylinders.
Extensive studies found a common desire to eliminate one handed ladder climbing when using refrigerant cylinders, according to Nick Strickland, developer and brand manager for JugLugger Refrigerant Strap. A rope is sometimes used to haul refrigerant cylinders up ladders; however, the rope piles up on the roof underneath the technicians feet creating an additional tripping hazard.
