Environmental Construction Services Receives Award for Technological Excellence

PHILADELPHIA — Environmental Construction Services, Inc. (ECSI360), a full-service, energy-conscious HVACR construction company, has received the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce's 2015 Excellence Award for Technological Excellence. The award is presented to a company in the Philadelphia area making a positive impact on the market through innovative technology.

ECSI360 provides HVACR energy solutions for its customers, so they can get a handle on electricity costs that are expected to skyrocket over the next decade. The company has filed for a patent that could offer retrofit HVACR technology for both commercial and residential use.

"It's incredibly rewarding to be honored by the Chamber of Commerce for doing something our customers have always benefitted from — providing them with cutting-edge HVAC solutions that will put money back into their businesses," said Michael A. Brown, president and co-founder of ECSI360.  "As a small business, we know how tight everyone's budgets are, how thin profits can be, so if we can bring real value to our customers, while diminishing their footprint on the environment, it's a win-win."

The Chamber's 32nd Annual Excellence Awards also recognized companies and individuals in categories including Customer Service, Manufacturing, Non-profit, Retail, Sustainable Services, Small Businessperson, Veteran Services and Young Entrepreneurs.  All of the 2015 winners will be formally recognized at an awards celebration Nov. 5, 2014, at The Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia. The event is open to the public.
