Learn How the CARES Act Can Help Your Business

Originally published: 04.07.20 by Pete Grasso

The recently passed CARES Act can assist your business through loans and the Paycheck Protection Program.

We live in uncertain times. I don't know of anyone who have ever experience anything like what the world is going through right now. Country to country, state to state, city to city — and business to business — we're all in this together.

Although HVACR is considered an essential business, and allowed to continue operating in communities where businesses are being told to shut their doors, some of you may still be struggling due to the current economic climate.

To alleviate the economic impact of the coronavirus on both individuals and businesses, Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act on March 27. The legislation provides economic assistance to small businesses like yours, through a variety of programs, including small business loans and the Paycheck Protection Program.

Of course, it can be a lot to navigate — especially at a time when you might already be stressed. To help, we've gathered a variety of sources to help educate you on what the CARES Act is all about, how it can help your business (as well as you, personally, and your employees) and get you on

the path to economic recovery.

Please continue to check this page often, as we'll keep adding resources to this list in the coming weeks.
