Bryant Preferred Series Plus 80W Gas Furnace
INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems announces the release of its Preferred Series Plus 80W two-stage, variable-speed gas furnace, which features a fourway multipoise design with 13 vent options for a wide range of installation possibilities including upflow, downflow or horizontal configurations.
The Preferred Plus 80W features a “smart” control center that provides a number of functions to increase homeowner comfort, including FanOnPlus™ technology, allowing for continuous fan speed when used with a compatible thermostat. The microprocessor adapts heating stages to meet actual demands and has a dehumidify mode.
Another feature of the Preferred Plus 80W is the SmartEvap technology moisturecontrol function, which can lower the humidity level in the home by nearly 10 percent when paired with a compatible condensing unit. By turning off the blower motor for a predetermined amount of time immediately following a dehumidification cycle, SmartEvap technology ensures that moisture removed from the home remains out of the home by allowing any condensation to drip from the indoor evaporator coil instead of reintroducing that moisture back into the home.
“The Preferred Plus 80W gas furnace offers considerable flexibility for contractors and homeowners through its numerous installation configurations,” said Bill Hoskins, product marketing manager, Bryant. “Furthermore, the unit’s enhanced features and benefits make it a welcome addition into Bryant’s mid-tier offerings.”
The Preferred Plus 80W also provides the benefit of Perfect Heat™ technology, which helps decrease sound levels, allows for longer cycles, causes less temperature swings between cycles and less temperature differences between rooms, and improves indoor air quality.
